Growing Girl

Madison had her 6 month Dr. appt yesterday. She weighs 15 lbs 1 oz and is 26 in long. I can't believe it, she is growing to fast! She had to get a couple of shots, which always breaks my heart:( After the appt. we met some friends and their babies and went stroller skating. It was so much fun! You just strap on some skates and push the stroller around, the babies loved it! Here are a few pictures from the week. We are heading to Paris for the weekend, so time to stop procrastinating and start packing:/

Stratford upon Avon

Adam had ten days off after his deployment so we decided to take a little family trip (sonnie included). We went to the Cotswolds (very quaint English area) and rented an apartment for a couple of days. We really just took it easy and explored some super cute little villages and did some antique shopping. I have started picking up random tea sets and had a great time looking at all what the shops had to offer. In one shop, I asked to see this beautiful set and the owner said "you have really good taste", I knew I was in trouble. The set (1 cup 1 saucer) dated back to 1820. It's was beautiful pink and cream with gold rimming- it was also $250. Needless to say, it stayed at the cute little shop:) Anyways, we had some really nice weather, great food, and saw Shakespeare's house. Here are a few pictures:

Spain

Madison and I went to visit Adam in Spain for 10 days.  Luckily, Adam had some time off so we could travel around to see some sites.  We went to Seville, Rota, Gibraltar, and Ronda.  Seville was a lot of fun but our favorite place was Ronda...it was the perfect size town with great food and amazing views. Although, I think Madison's favorite was the beach at Rota.  She absolutely loves the water and she sure is a "looker" in her new one piece!

Cornwall

While Adam was deployed I took a girls trip down the coast of Cornwall- about a 6 hour drive. We all had our little babies and they were great all week:) We spent a week in a beautiful condo overlooking the ocean. We went on a couple of day trips to see The Eden Project- Bio-domes and St. Michaels Mount- Castle. St. Michaels Mount was beautiful- we went at low tide and walked a brick path out to the castle which was on a small island. After 4 pm you had to take a small boat back because the tide was in so walking wasn't an option. We had such a fun and relaxing time. We also had great weather and even got a nice tan!

Lavenham

Yesterday we had a fun lunch and some shopping in the cute little village of Lavenham, about 45 min away from our house. The village itself is adorable and the homes/ stores/ pubs etc are old and crooked. I should have taken more photos, but here are a few. As you can tell by our clothing I think summer is over:(
